Congrats to our 2026 Scholars!

In 2026, led by Patriotic Services Chair (Scholarships) Meryl McGauvran, a review committee of Minnesota Dames evaluated the top 12 candidates from a total of 70 initial applications from international graduate students at the University of Minnesota. Winners of the three $7,000 scholarships for 2026 were :

  • Nesara Dandiganahalli Lakshmiprasad: Master of Public Health, India

  • Muhammad Taimoor Hayat: Master of Public Policy, Pakistan

  • Enet Mukurazita: PhD, Organizational Leadership, Policy, and Development, Zimbabwe

    To help the students showcase their educational and vocational work, the University of Minnesota created a video of the recipients. Watch here. Minnesota Dames had a chance to meet the scholars during a special event during Mary Mundy’s visit to Minnesota.
